Heating: Pre-set for arrival. Adjust thermostats upstairs and downstairs if needed. Please do not alter main boiler settings.
Towels: Bath towels are provided for use at the property only. For spa visits, please bring your own towels or hire them directly from the spa.
Children's Equipment: Cutlery provided. High chair and travel cot available (cot setup on request — please message +44 7974 115 574 in advance). Please bring your own cot mattress for extra comfort and bedding (a thin mattress is included).
Log Burner: Logs and kindling can be pre-ordered for your arrival (£20). To arrange, please message +44 7974 115 574 in advance. No cleaning required at check-out — we’ll handle it.
Barbecue: Bring your own coal or pre-order for your arrival (£7.50). To arrange, please message +44 7974 115 574 in advance. Please do not place hot coals directly on the decking.

🌊 Lake Access:
Winter (October–March):
• Locked gate to jetty at rear of property. Keep it locked when not in use.
• Lakes are closed from October to March due to colder weather and for safety reasons.
Summer (April–September):
• Use the rear gate to access the lake. Keep it locked when not in use.
• Contact the Activity Hub at 01285 719 960 or visit lowermillestate.com/activities.
• Guests must wear appropriate clothing and use suitable equipment.
• Buoyancy aids must be worn at all times for safety reasons.
• Water is shallow on entry but deepens further out — enter at your own risk.

• A valid U.K. fishing license and own equipment is required.

Care:
• Hours of Use: The hot tub is available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Respect Quiet Hours: Please keep noise to a minimum out of consideration for nearby residents.
• No Glass Allowed: For safety, do not bring glassware into or around the hot tub area.
• Age Restriction: Children under 16 are not permitted to use the hot tub.
• Pre-Soak Hygiene: Kindly shower before entering to help maintain water quality. Avoid entering directly from the lake.
• Time Limit: Limit your soak to 20 minutes maximum to avoid overheating.
• Alcohol Advisory: Please do not use the hot tub while under the influence of alcohol.
• Health Precautions: If you are pregnant or have any medical concerns, consult your doctor before use.
• Slippery Surfaces: Take care on the steps and surrounding decking, which may be slippery when wet.
• Cover Care: When finished, replace the lid securely to keep the hot tub clean and protected.
Don’t leave your furry companions behind — up to two well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed for a small additional pet fee. With miles of scenic trails, lakeside paths, and open green spaces, it’s a dog-walking paradise.
Guidelines:
• Must stay downstairs and not be left alone during the day.
• Pick up after them and use a lead where required.
• No dogs on furniture; bring their bed or cage for a comfy stay.
• Doggy towels and bowls are provided for after walks.

Guest Rules:
• No noise after 11 p.m. (enforced by estate security).
• No smoking, candles, disposable barbecues or fireworks.
• No stag or hen parties, or single-gender groups of six or more.
Departure Checklist:
• Check-out by 10 a.m.
• Empty all bins, fridge and freezer (bin stores located nearby).
• Switch off all lights.
• Return spa passes to the guest information pack.
• Collect all belongings, lock up and return the key to the lockbox.
